We are delighted and proud to be a recognised WE School and part of the WE Movement in the UK. Over the past 4 years we have worked with our children to help them make an impact in the local community and globally. This has included events at school to raise the profile of hunger, cyberbullying and identity as well as organising events for the community. 

There are 4 steps to becoming a WE School:

	INVESTIGATE AND LEARN Students explore topics related to a real-world challenge or opportunity.
	ACTION PLAN Students develop a plan to implement their active citizenship project, including one local and one global action.
	TAKE ACTION Students implement their action plan.
	REPORT AND CELEBRATE Students present the results of their active citizenship initiatives or campaigns.

WE SCARE Hunger

The children at Anson worked as a community to gather food for our local Food Bank in Brent. The response was overwhelming, but a very powerful way to show how simple it can be to make a difference in your local community. 

WE SCARE Bullies

This video was created by our Digital Leaders to support children deal with bullying in the real world and online. Our Digital Leaders have all been accredited by Childnet on the Childnet Digital Leaders Programme. The film was given a shoutout at WE Day 2018, live on stage at Wembley Arena! We will be very happy if the film helps just one child deal with the fallout from bullying or cyberbullying, wherever they are in the world.

WE SCARE Plastic

We have a problem around the world with plastic in the oceans. By 2050 the oceans of the world will be so full of plastic that the fish may be outnumbered. They'll certainly be endangered. That's outrageous! So as part of a whole community project our children gathered as much plastic together as possible and made a documentary about what you could do with the plastic bottles and why it's important to reduce, reuse and recycle.
