    So far the people of the City-Within-The-City have no idea of the hunger in the rest of the country, but in this chapter a runaway mail coach is about to change all that.

    Mail coaches were used to move letters across the country before the days of postal vans, trains or planes. It was a dangerous job as Highwaymen often stopped the coaches to rob them.
