In Chapter 6 we are transported into the palace gardens where there is a bit of trouble brewing.
"As long as they didn’t pull the peacocks’ tails, jump in the fountains, or climb the statues, the children of the palace servants were allowed to play in the courtyard after school."
The children love to play in the garden but Spittleworth and Flapoon weren’t fond of children at all. They thought the little brats made far too much noise in the late afternoon.
Do not jump in the fountains!
Do not pull the tails of the peacocks!
Do not make noise!
Do not climb on the statues!
Imagine you are Spilttleworth and Flapoon. Design your own poster to make sure the children obey all the rules!
